Parish Life
Marriage Preparation
The celebration of the Sacrament of Matrimony is a great moment of joy in the Parish. Those who are receiving the Sacrament of Matrimony are establishing a covenantal gift of total self donation to each other for the whole of their lives. In awe of such a covenant of love, the Church community stands up before God and acknowledges their own commitment to the couple who begin to live their vocation of Marriage. Marriage is such a solemn commitment and forms the building blocks to the life of the Church. Therefore we ask couples who are seeking to be married to contact Valerie Scott at least six months prior to their wedding date to begin the preparation process for the Sacrament.
Annulments
A Church Annulment is a declaration from the Catholic Church in a particular Diocese that a specific union, presumably begun in good faith, and thought by all to be a marriage, was, in fact, not a true union according to the teachings of the Catholic Church. If you have experienced a divorced and would like inquire about the validity of your marriage, please contact,Valerie Scott, who will guide you through the annulment process.

Baptismal Preparation
Baptism is the sacrament by which we are reborn as sons and daughters of God, are freed from all sin, become incorporated into the life of the Christ, and made members of the Church and its mission. For those parents wishing to make arrangements for their child’s baptism, please contact Valerie Scott.
Baptism is God’s most beautiful and magnificent gift. We call it gift, grace, anointing, enlightenment, garment of immortality, bath of rebirth, seal, and most precious gift. It is called gift because it is conferred on those who bring nothing of their own; grace since it is given even to the guilty; Baptism because sin is buried in the water; anointing for it is priestly and royal as are those who are anointed; enlightenment because it radiates light; clothing since it veils our shame; bath because it washes; and seal as it is our guard and the sign of God’s Lordship.
